Carnival Cruise Line is cutting ties with Pepsi and cracking open a cold one with Coca-Cola. Starting later this summer, Carnival guests will once again be sipping the world’s most iconic soda brand as Coca-Cola becomes the cruise line’s preferred beverage partner across its North American fleet.
In a move that’s sure to fizz up some excitement, Carnival is swapping soda fountains fleetwide and reloading its drink menus with Coca-Cola classics — including Coca-Cola, Coke Zero Sugar, Sprite, Fanta, Powerade, Topo Chico, and even fairlife milk.
“Carnival Cruise Line and Coca-Cola are two iconic brands that celebrate fun, family, friendship, food and fabulous memories,” said Carnival president Christine Duffy. “We’re thrilled to welcome Coke back onboard — our guests love it, and it perfectly complements the kind of unforgettable experiences we offer at sea.”
For loyal Carnival cruisers, this marks a nostalgic comeback. Coca-Cola previously partnered with the cruise line before Pepsi took the wheel in 2020. But the tides have turned, and Coca-Cola is back to reclaim the onboard soda throne.
Coca-Cola exec Dagmar Boggs chimed in, saying, “We’re thrilled to be back on board with Carnival, literally! Whether it’s an ice-cold Coke with your burger, a Topo Chico poolside, or a Powerade after a shore excursion, we’ve got the perfect refreshment for every moment.”
The transition will begin fleetwide later this summer. So if you’re team Coke — pop the champagne (or, you know, the soda tab). And for Pepsi fans… well, you might want to BYOB while you still can.
