At the Italian Shipyard Fincantieri in Genoa, the official handover of the new Seabourn Ovation to Seabourn took place today. The Seabourn Ovation is the fifth ship in the award-winning fleet. She is, like her sister ship Seabourn Encore (delivered in 2017) an all-suites ship, all with a private veranda. This generous amount of space per passenger, allowing a highly personalized and personalized service, is one of Seabourn's most important ultra-luxury facets. With the delivery of the new ship, Seabourn now has the latest and most consistent fleet in the ultra-luxury segment of the cruise industry.

The Seabourn Ovation will be christened on May 11, 2018, in the Maltese capital of Valletta by British musical star Elaine Paige. The festive christening is part of the eleven-day baptismal cruise from Venice to Barcelona. Thereafter, the Seabourn Ovation spends its debut season in the North and Baltic Seas.
